The Rolling Megaguide
The Tech 3 Crew Rolling Megaguide
To Roll all the Wormholes whether they're new or fresh, without rolling out rollers. These processes are designed to minimize risk of rollouts, and simplify the process as far as possible to avoid human error. There are times when putting fewer battleships through with varying propulsion module modes may save time or number of passes, and this guide does not aim for fastest possible, or fewest possible passes. This rolling methodology is modified from existing online charts, and many years of my own gameplay, with the goal of making rolling a very simple task even when multiboxing several battleships. I almost never have to think about which account I currently have selected to know whether I need to be Hot or Cold (If you're new to rolling and don't know what that means, it will be explained later).
This Guide assumes you understand basic EVE Mechanics, if you feel there are errors or room for extra explanation send an EVE Mail to Lasse Ker'Khan in game (Or just send a message in Discord if you're in T3C).
Terminology & Data
- Basic Terms
- Wormhole: A Spatial Rift connecting two systems in J Space.
- Fresh: You are absolutely certain there is no significant mass on this Wormhole (i.e you watched it spawn and nothing bigger than a cruiser or two has jumped through it).
- Mass Reduced: When you show info on the wormhole in game, it states "This wormhole has had it's mass reduced by ships passing through it, but not to a critical degree yet."
- Mass Crit: When you show info on the wormhole in game it states "This wormhole has had it's stability critically disrupted by ships passing through it, and is on the verge of collapse."
- HOT/COLD: Whether or not your Propulsion Module is running. Why is it named Hot and Cold instead of On and Off? I haven't the faintest idea. It has nothing to do with overheating, but this terminology is standardized in the community.
- OUT/IN: The direction of the passage through the wormhole, there's a 50/50 split in the community as to which is which. This guide operates from the point of where you start, so where you want to end. You are going OUT from where you want to be, then back IN.
- Rolling Fittings
- Capital Roller: A Rolling Nidhoggur (Fitting Link Pending)
- Large Roller: A 200/300 Rolling Battleship (Fitting Link Pending)
- Medium Roller: A 12/62 Rolling Cruiser (Fitting Link Pending)
- Large Hic: A Rolling Hic used normally (Fitting Link Pending)
- Medium Hic: A Rolling Hic but only Zero Point Mass Entanglers are used for Cold/Hot (Fitting Link Pending)
- Notes
- If you have fewer characters than a number in the Flowcharts, then you will need to wait out Polarization Timers and complete them before moving on to the decision.
- e.g If you're solo and a Flow Point says 3 Large Rollers, you need to make 3 Passes solo.
- At a push you can use a Medium Roller instead of a Hic, but that is significantly more risky and not recommended. I only bring it up because i know how much of a pain the skill can be.
- If you're looking at a K162, jump through it in something low mass and check the far side, or use Anoik.is table to look up what it must be if you know how to.
- If you are emergency rolling and need speed over precision (running the risk of rolling people out or only bringing the wormhole to Mass Crit), treat the wormhole as fresh (assuming it's not Reduced), and send the Mass Reduced: Yes group out alongside the initial Wormhole Fresh: Yes group. If it rolls someone out that's just Bob's will, otherwise finish it with a Hic.
- If you have fewer characters than a number in the Flowcharts, then you will need to wait out Polarization Timers and complete them before moving on to the decision.

Frigate Wormholes
Frigate Wormholes cannot be rolled unless you have enough people to instantly close them, in which case you are almost certainly not reading this.
100k Wormholes
A Very rare mass I've never needed to roll and doubt I ever will. If you're here to roll it, please send me an EVE Mail as to how you got into this situation.
500k Wormholes
The smaller of the C1 Cruiser holes.
1M Medium Wormholes
The larger of the C1 Cruiser holes.
750k Wormholes
The smallest of the Battleship holes.
1M Large Wormholes
A Small and convenient to roll Battleship Hole
2M Wormholes
The most common wormhole I've ever rolled.
Note: Current Error in following Chart, it can be done faster using a Hot Hic if the mass is only reduced. Pending Update
3M Wormholes
A Larger but still quite common Battleship hole.
3.3M Wormholes
A Capital Wormhole, very common. It can be rolled if it's fresh with a single pass of a Rolling Carrier: OUT HOT, IN HOT. Otherwise follow the following flowchart for Subcapital Rolling:
Not made this yet
5M Wormholes
A right sod to roll, unfortunately common due to the D845 (C3 -> Highsec)
